Single all my life, I was born and raised in the Midwest-Ohio and Wisconsin…lived a short time in New York City and a longer time in Los Angeles…the Northwest suburbs of Chicago have been my home for 26 years, but who's counting?
I met my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after moving to this area
and my life hasn't been the same since.
Church activities have included singles ministry, deaf ministry, and leading women's Bible studies.
On many Sunday mornings you can find me perched in the interpreter chair left of center at
Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church.
A late bloomer, I attended Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois and graduated with a BA in Group and Interpersonal communication in 1994. It was during my time at Trinity that the Lord showed me I am to use my love of writing for Him.
This year I took early retirement from my job of 18 years with an elementary
school district where I worked as an administrative assistant. I am now
writing full time and working on my current WIP (work in progress) called
"Murder for Breakfast."
Until February 7, 2006, I shared my condominium with two Siamese cats, Max and
Chessie. My beloved regal Max with an Aslan-like personality developed
advanced kidney disease and had to be put down. So for now it's just "us
girls." Chessie has adapted well to being the "only cat." I'm not sure I've
adjusted as easily.
